Intro to Weaving

This workshop is to see what weaving is about. Learn the fundamental techniques, including plain weave and some fun textured stitches! Keep your weaving sweet and simple, or explore the techniques with expert support.

Punch Needle

This nifty tool lets you paint with yarn! It’s like embroidery, but a little more funky and chunky. It’s also a lot faster! Once you learn how to use the needle, the sky’s the limit. Create all types of texture and any image you can imagine, for your wall, pillows, and more.

Woven Wreaths

This workshop teaches basic organic-style circular weaving with an emphasis on fibre variety and texture. An easy project for first-time weavers!

$250 workshop fee + materials fee of $15-30 per person depending on wreath size

Macrame Wreaths

A fave project from our Holiday Crafts workshop, suitable for year round group events! This is a great option for a larger group, shorter event, or any reluctant crafters in a group.

It’s a very easy project, and a mini-size wreath can be completed in under 30 minutes. We also provide visual instructional handouts. The wreaths use just one repeated knot; the fun comes from choosing materials!

$250 workshop fee + materials fee of $8-20 per person depending on pre-determined wreath sizes

Holiday Crafts

A holiday hit for all kinds of groups! You’ll have lots of options and ways to personalize and combine them. Make mini or full-sized macrame wreaths, pom pom garlands, beaded stars, or brass ornaments! Participants will have time to make 1-3 items, depending on size and embellishments.

Stamp Carving

Block printing is an ancient craft, found across cultures. We use rubber blocks and a variety of carving tools to create a design which can then be printed again and again onto fabric or paper.
